Charlie Kirk was a very misunderstood man. Much of what he said was taken out of context, sound bytes were blown into full out accusations and judgements. He never backed down from a difficult conversation, but now those very same people who criticized him while he was alive and wouldn’t have a conversation with him are the loudest.
The bible speaks positively of those who are persecuted for the faith. A few verses that come to mind are:
Matthew 5:10–11 (NASB)
“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.”
2 Timothy 3:12 (NASB)
“Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”
John 15:20 (NASB)
“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they followed My word, they will follow yours also.”
Charlie Kirk’s Name Means “Free Man Church”
The name Charlie means ‘Free Man’ and the name Kirk means ‘Church’ – His full name meant “Free Man Church.”
His legacy, speaking up for Christ and standing up against the wickedness of the enemy will not be forgotten.
And for those that are still taking his words out of context, please watch a full debate and stop being sold on sound bytes. The truth will always rise to the surface.
Charlie Kirk Influenced The Next Generation
Charlie Kirk spoke on matters that he believed in. Christianity, family values, conservative fiscal values, keeping LGBT agenda’s out of schools so that kids can focus on learning, not on sexuality. Focusing on the core values that make families healthy and whole.
The values that make a nation strong.
The values that bring together those of a different skin color.
The values that merit require, not entitlement.
Charlie Kirk stood for the American dream, free speech and speaking and proclaiming boldly the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His death will not be in vain.
