A pregnant woman by the name of Amanda Foster was pregnant in May and her prayer to God was very simple. It was that God would keep his hand on her baby during her pregnancy. She prayed this over and over and asked God to keep her at ease and trust during this process.
She was praying fervently because doctors diagnosed her child with a heart condition in the womb, so all she had was her faith in God to rely on.
After having an ultrasound she discovered that there was quite literally a hand holding her baby’s head in the Ultrasound. The ultrasound actually showed this. It brought her to tears and gave her even stronger faith and more gratitude to God for answering her prayers.
As Isaiah 41:10 says “Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
This is a beautiful testimony of a woman’s prayers being answered and God showing her through an Ultrasound that he is faithful, and that he does answer prayers. Especially when we pray from a place of service in mind.
James 4:3 Says..
“You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
I believe that because this woman asked from a humble heart, and for someone outside of herself, God was more than gracious enough to answer her humble prayer.
