Martin Sedra was raised in Egypt as the son of a Christian pastor living in a predominantly Muslim country where being a Christian and preaching the gospel was dangerous and persecuted. His family faced death threats and violent attacks from extremists and the Muslim Brotherhood because of their faith, including attempts on the lives of Martin and his brothers. His father’s ministry involved converting many Muslims to Christianity, which angered radical Islamic groups. At one point, a terrorist leader’s wife was led to Christ by Martin’s father, escalating the threats against the family.

The situation became so dangerous that Martin’s father had the family escape Egypt immediately. They With divine protection, they managed to escape the prevalent violence and persecution, eventually settling as refugees in Australia.

Martin met his wife Millicent in Australia, they met at a camp at 13 years old. They now travel the world spreading Christian faith, warning about the threats extremist Islam poses, and boldly preaching the gospel in Western countries including Australia.
